Horsemanship Program
Spring and Fall Programs
LESSONS
Our standard lesson program includes a weekly 1-hour group or a 1/2 hour private lesson. Our groups are limited to no more than six riders and are arranged based on experience and age. Half-hour private lessons are perfect for young riders (ages 6 or 7) or adults. Lessons cover all aspects of horsemanship, both mounted and non-mounted. Extended barn time is available for all participants.
COST: $100.00/month
Special programs are available for younger (under 6 years) riders and adults (18 and over).
ADDITIONAL RIDING OPPORTUNITIES
- LEASE PROGRAM (Open & Focused)
This program offers a 3 day a week lease to riders who qualify. A one hour group lesson per week is included The OPEN Lease gives students an opportunity to work with a variety of different horses. The FOCUSED Lease allows students to work with one horse in particular. Limited showing allowed in both lease programs. $275.00/month
- PRACTICE CLASSES
Do you desire more ride time? These sessions are loosely structured to give students a chance to practice the skills they are working on in their regular class. Scheduled weekly on a first come basis. Cost - $15.00/per class
- COUNSELORS AIDES:
This program is available to our older and more experienced students. If you are interested, please ask for more information.
- SHOW TEAM
All students are eligible to participate in show team. Tentative spring show dates are June 8th and July 6th.
